nine plaster sculptures, each within 340x340x50mm
The idea of balance goes through the whole length of the project:
- opposition of the negative space to the bulging form;
- the flat surface to the volume shape;
- the pattern of similar repeating forms to the irregularity of breaking line;
- roughness to fragility.
These “conflicts” within the sculptures are what makes them interesting: as tactile and visual objects on their own, but also as basis for future architectural designs.
