I've been drawn to visual arts since very young age.
Growing up in Dnipro and then Kyiv, Ukraine, I developed a wide range of skills in academic painting and drawing,as well as analogue technical drawing and model making.
With over a decade-long experience in art and design education,I gained an extensive understanding of form and colour and their perception in 2D and 3D.
During High School, I started to explore the ways of self-expression outside of my academic work, forming my artistic identity.
Experiments with ink drawing and sketching led to my first exhibitions and sales.
I became part of the Kyiv art community, learning from renowned artists in their workshops and visiting lecturesat architectural studios.
I am an observer and often feel that things I find fascinating go unfairly unnoticed. Therefore, my art is a way to share my impressions of the world with others.
A big part of my work is also self-reflective. Over the last couple of years,I started to input more of my abstract thoughts and strong opinions into the works. My pieces have become a statement rather than just an observation.
Currently, my focus is on architectural practice.
While studying at the AA School and working in its archives over the last 2 years,I developed a huge interest in architectural heritage and aspects of its value:
In my projects, I am looking at the perspectives on the heritage of the systems dealing with itto consider more effective ways of including it in the present.
